that diagram is only the immediate (within a few days) ash cloud zone, cornelius. the whole earth will be affected long-term as the shit in the atmosphere blocks out sunlight for years if not more and causes an enormous drop in world temperature and kills off agriculture world wide. every person on the earth will be affected
