Obama: "They talk about me like a dog"

TRENDING: Obama: They talk about me like a dog
Posted: September 6th, 2010 03:52 PM ET

From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

______________________

(CNN) – Those following President Obama's prepared remarks during a speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Monday were thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to a description of his critics:

"Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true," he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

The line was a rare departure from a president who normally sticks close to the text of his speech and may forecast a more aggressive tone on the part of Obama as the midterms approach.

The address is the first of two speeches this week in which Obama will try and frame his administration's response to the recession, less than two months ahead of midterm elections where Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are on the ropes.

This little rambling cry baby stuff without the tie is beyond unpresidential.  Its like a drunk community organizer stirring up the hood to start a riot at Freddy's.

This is a one term president. You can take that to the bank. And dont think that I dont have a sufficiently dark view of the electorate. If he were only half the disaster that he is (which would still be a lot) he could still win re-election. But the embarassing gaffes, the screw ups, the policy disasters, the unpresidential demeanor, and the disconnect with the American people have become so much that not even the dependent leeches are going to be able to put him back into office.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw a clip of him today.  He has gone overboard with the casual look.   But maybe that's part of the "change" he was talking about.   ::)

He really is disconnected from reality to the point of sheer delusion.

He must know he is a dog to make that comment. truth hurts. Have been a democrat for 46 years, but after that idiot got in office, I changed to the real party- republican! I have never seen such an egotistical, self-centered person who always blames everyone else for his mistakes

WOW!!! Obama is the best thing to ever happen to Conservatives.

That's what can happen when a person doesn't spend time in the trenches, working a real job, etc.

The Dog Daze of a Presidency
michellemalkin.com ^ | 9/6/10 | Doug Powers

________________________ ________________________ _

President Obama apparently strayed off-prompter briefly Monday. This somewhat whiny reference seems like something that would come from a politician exhausted by marathon campaigning and beaten down by the opposition, which is odd for someone whose party is still in control of Washington and who spent the better part of the summer on vacation:

Obama was in Milwaukee to speak at the Milwaukee Laborfest, attended by Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka. He used the speech to promote his $50 billion infrastructure plan and to criticize Republicans ahead of crucial midterm elections.

“Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they’re not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That’s not in my prepared remarks, but it’s true,” he told the union crowd. If by “like a dog” Obama means that every one year of his presidency feels like seven, I’m forced to agree with him. Otherwise it’s a little insulting, if for no other reason than that there are many breeds of dogs that could run the country at a lower unemployment rate.

How exactly does one talk about somebody like a dog? Or are the “powerful interests” talking to a dog — or are they speaking as a dog? Are the “powerful interests” dog haters? Are the “powerful interests” democrats who are trying to get re-elected? It’s anybody’s guess.

I was thinking about this the other day.

What ever happened to this as an issue? I don't understand why it was dropped all of a sudden.

Surely he still uses a teleprompter for some speeches.

Even Chris Matthews said the use of teleprompter is one of Obamas' main problems.  however, that puts Obama in a tough spot since without the teleprompter, he is a rambling fool prone to saying the most idiotic things that don't comport with the media narrative of him being some transformational brilliant genius, WHICH HE IS NOT, NEVER WAS, NOR WILL EVER BE.

How many times can this fool talk about republicans drove the economy in the ditch and now they want the keys back?Every freaking week its the same thing.ESPECIALLY when he is front of a crowd of blacks or union morons and notice the black preacher voice was back yesterday.Think he will use that at next weeks press conferance?

Republicans drove the economy into the ditch but Obama and his tranny wife took their dicks out and pissed all over it before burrying it for the next ten years.

President-Elect Obama May Get a Mutt 'Like Me'
By Stephen M. Silverman

President-Elect Barack Obama

Charles Dharapak/AP

________________________ ________________________

The main topic of the day was the economy, but President-elect Barack Obama did say Friday, at his first press conference since his election, that he is dealing with a topic close to home.

"With respect to the dog," said Obama, "this is a major issue." He said it has generated the most interest on his Web site, but before a new addition is made to the family, "two criteria that have to be reconciled."

One is that elder daughter Malia, 10, "is allergic, so it has to be hypoallergenic." The other is that "our preference would be to get a shelter dog," which would point to the possiblity of a mixed breed, or, as Obama said, "a mutt, like me."

I read it and most of it is gossip and the author is already backtracking on stuff he wrote.

And guess what ?  I never said I want her for Prez, I want Thune first, however, if she runs and gets the nod, I will campain and volutneer for her.

While she is what she is, she is not a marxist/socialist intent on transforming the nation into some communist hell hole like Obama wants.

it's impossible for repubs to shit on obama for the teleprompter - without dems bringing up the hypocrisy of 'redneck palm pilot' palin mocking obama for it while reading simple notes from her hand.

until she is no longer the de facto face of the repub party - and she is folks, thanks to fox and msn alike - the teleprompter issue is a nonstarter.

(plus, we gotta remember obama had no prompter for 22 hilary debates and 3 mccain debates, and he handled their shit pretty easily...)
