isn't Higher Power the defacto "go-to lower end brand" that bb.com pushes?

Yeah.  I've been using a product called "black mist" that is manufactured for a nutrition chain here.  It is a blend of GABA and ZMA.  I ran out of pills so was in a hurry to get sumthin that day.  Low and behold the shit actually works decently.  However, it is expensive as fuck (as is all their shit which is why i don't shop there)  Long story short I was just going to get the products seperate for much cheaper.  I've been a fan of Trib for sometime now.  Scared to switch from Ultimate Nutrition though which I have found to be the best

From what I could find BB.com did in fact buy them.  Lower price doesn't necessarily mean poor quality as many comps use the same manufacturers and brand it as their own.  The poor quality comes into play from the company branding it.  i.e. do they have integrity and sell it dosed as it was manufactured and claimed.  Just want to make sure they sell what they claim in the opinions of the users which is what matters to me

actually, that point is well taken but I come from the "you get what you pay for" school of thought

However, when it comes to supplements, the argument can also be made that Higher price doesn't necessarily mean higher quality- it is just a means of milking a very impressionable market ie being able to rob 15 year old boys by making them think they will look like Jay Cutler by buying Cell tech at 60 bucks a canister

We're on the same page Sal.  I have no prob paying for quality.  I have a major problem paying for b.s. claims, glossy 8 page editorial ads, lawsuits from false claims, pro bb endorsements showin it is 876534% better than it's competitor

myself as well.

part of becoming a more mature consumer is knowing how to see through "what works" and "marketing"

it's kinda like how a young athlete gets over that phase where they lift heavy weights with REALLY SHITTY FORM just to boost their ego and learns that it is about good form instead

I have consumed numerous products by Higher Power.  I would say they you are getting your money's worth for sure because they are good products at prices among the most competitive in the industry.  It makes sense that the price can be kept down because BB.com does not have to purchase the supplements from a supplier.  The main Higher Power product that I use is the whey protein and it is good and also at a competitive price.  I can't really say much bad about Higher Power, but if you want premium protein like Syntha-6, you have to spend the money on it.

Thanks Matt and V.O.D. for the responses.  Going to order today, and give them a shot.  Might even get me some boron to stack with some HMB ;D

Matt, were youy kidding when you said Syntha 6 is premium protein?

I do not belive it is premium...its just a blend with fats in it and it is high in sugar...
