Theres a 50 dollar one in Mandalay Bay I think is what it was, the best king crab legs i ever had. Thick and sweet, they had to roll me out of there.  Get there early cus there was a huge line.

Personaly me and my wife acually prefer the relatively cheaper ones . Excaliber is one of my favs. Stay the fuck away from luxer.
It sucks balls. I seriously walked the whole line and returmed with like 3 things. And its exspensive as shit. If ur going for the best i would have to say belagio. Its a cool 50, but so worth it. I walked away and was eyeing the poted plants, looking for a puke place haha ;D We just kept eating and eating.

LV buffets are now available as All Day Buffets saving you about $4 to $12 if you eat three meals a day or more. And you can go from buffet to buffet if the hotel chain has more than one buffet (such as Harrah's).

Make sure you have a free player's club card and show it while paying the cashier for a decent discount.

Among the best are the buffets at the following casinos -

The Wynn
The Aria (new)
"M" (my favorite) - Try this place for very good food in an exceptionally nice atmosphere. Roughly 8 to 10 miles south of the Strip hotels.
Bellagio
The Rio

Buffet prices are higher on weekends and holidays or when this town has major conventions.

When you get buffed out and want to try an inexpensive local's joint, try one of the meals at Ellis Island where the food is good and cheap and the home-made beer is in big demand.

A decent dinner at Ellis Island will set you back about $5.99 to $14 and it's well worth every penny. It's just not a fancy place like the Strip joints.

Ellis is on Koval Lane (one block east of the Strip) behind Bally's Hotel/Casino.

I'll 2nd the call to check-out Ellis Island. Ate there twice last month. Won a couple hundred playing video poker while waiting for a table.  Steak special one night, ribs the next time.

Two little border brothers thought my girlfriend was a hooker ;D.  She was dressed pretty sleazy.

The Wynn was ok.  Nothing major.  The Bellagio is awesome but pricey. Excaliber is like the Cracker Barrell.  Total deep fried shit.

Try the Wynn if you can.

PLUS... expect long buffet lines at the Orleans during the "O" and a possible price increase that week and remember that the buffet will be closed after te contest finals when everyone is looking for a place to eat.

The Orleans coffee shop is open 24/7 and ain't too bad for a not too swift meal (slow service). TGIF will most likely be open late also.

And don't go driving all over town late at night looking for a good meal as most good restaurants close shop around 11 PM and driving around is gonna be a pain in the ass that weekend.

The night clubs will be jumping though. Closest hot spots to the Orleans to meet the ladies that weekend are at The Palms less than a mile down a quiet street north of the contest site.

Or try the Strip Club right across the street.

Tommy, thanks on the backup concerning Ellis Island. The steak you ate is known as the Ellis Island Special at $6.99 and is usually not on the menu.

I could be wrong as there have been some changes there lately.

My favorite meal at EI is the Prime Rib. Not cooked like other restaurants cook it, but it's damn good NTL.

Over in the opposite corner is the best Baby Back Ribs in town unless you happen to get an over-cooked slab. About $10 with the Player's Club Card. (I see you fine-dined there!)

Good to hear you won on one of their machines, but if I ever catch ya playing my Alien Cows From Planet Moolah - there's gonna be trouble. Those cows keep me from robbing 7/11's each and every week.

The Wynn has one of the best buffets I have ever been to.  The breakfast buffet is outstanding.
