Yeah, over the years, the jumpers have become the only consistent way to realize the depths of true terror that is 9/11.
Time passes and maybe it's simple nature for some to "meh" the event, or worse yet joke about it or even celebrate it as many have done since the first moment it began to unfold -- yes, some very sick cultures do that, and will go so far as to make costumes for parties (For their children, even!) or decorate cakes with just incredible elaboration and thought, and/or otherwise glamorize the tragedy in ways failing every measure of decency -- but to see those poor souls from that morning, faced with some awful decision to jump or to stay, should make the case to anyone. It is not "ho-hum" and it is absolutely not a joke.
But one thing I will never understand, is how someone who'd be so outraged by it all, would then fall silent over the well-known (For being uninvestigated?) problems. Even for a person who may be clueless on the matter as a whole, it should require living under a rock in the desert not to know about, for a single in-your-face instance, the powerful ones in the FBI shutting down the "little people" in their outfit who KNEW they had valid reason to detain certain individuals before they could flee. WHAT did those powerful ones do, instead? They spit a big fat glob in America's eye by personally helping those suspects flee. That's a fact.
So when it comes to being outraged at evil-doers who stand against America, who look to hurt her, and worse yet who have used their power and influence to remain untouched for their acts: you silent ones have only yourselves to blame. This is your baby, this child of the Devil. They wouldn't be able to produce, if not for you.
