I think the only losers are the ones that have smartphones (ie. blackberry) for status and don't actually use them to their full capacity, ie. I surf the net on my bb all the time, I have 3 email accounts synced to it, send and receive a ton of SMS so I need a full keyboard as I prefer it over talking on the phone, but the gimps that get one just to have one and don't even know how to use 99% of the functions on it should be shot.

And what's up with kids having cell phones now..!?! does an 8 year old REALLY need a blackberry ?!!? I mean WTF

Having the latest gadget is a good way to have fun and score some points with your mates and family. For less than $1000 you move up the prestige ranks. Still Flotsam but a better class for sure. A few months ago my Android phone was fun to play with and use. Have a BB Bold as well. Now I have an iPad and it is heaps more fun. The two overlap but the iPad is better for games, sharing photos and surfing the net. I have downloaded heaps of games and applications that I would never have used otherwise. I wasn't someone who played computer games. Now I have 3 Pin Ball games, Shuffleboard, Racing and heaps more things. I use it for Sudoku and other games. If I am out and about I can use hotspots to check my email, etc. This is just a fun device and one that I recommend to others. Get the 64 Gb version because you will be downloading applications galore. Then upload heaps of photos to show others. Also put your music aboard then get those nifty noise cancelling Bose headphones and you will be set for the beach or trips. Those little phones are great for taking snapshots and sending them to mates. A digital camera is another necessity and I have two DSLRs and a compact with me most of the time.
