I'd have to agree with you on this one.  I also think Hide has looked better before.  At best, perhaps he will round out the top 10, which would hardly be a bad placing.

Hide IMO always looks like crap in his precontest photos but looks alot better on stage...Kind of opposite of everyone else.

Yes I think that is possible.  I would say top 10 for sure, but he does not appear to be quite at his best.  He still represents Japan very well.

To be honest the transformation he makes from precontest to the day of the show is amazing. I met him at an expo, and he didn't look so massive, but on stage he looks amazing. His arms and shoulders blow up come show night....
