Poll: Voters Disapprove of How Obama Is Handling Illegal Immigration

American voters by a wide margin, 60 to 28 percent, disapprove of the way President Barack Obama is handling illegal immigration, and by an even wider margin, 68 to 25 percent, they favor stricter enforcement over integrating illegal immigrants into U.S. society, according to a new national poll by Quinnipiac University.

The poll also showed that American voters, 48 to 45 percent, oppose birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens who are born on U.S. soil.

A total of 1,905 voters were interviewed for the poll, which was conducted Aug. 31 – Sept. 7. Among the number of voters who disapprove (60 to 28 percent) of Obama’s handling of illegal immigration, the data were higher for Republicans, with an 88 to six percent disapproval rating and for Independents, 66 to 20 percent disapproval.

Bush, Romney, Palin, Biden, mccain, Obama - they ALL SUPPORT IT!

So unless Thune gets in - then manages to apply his conservative beliefs to a nation with 20 mil voters up for grabs... I think we're all doomed to face it.  Palin, this year, said she supports letting all the illegals stay 'if they fill out paperwork'.... and you KNOW Obama will push it thru if he loses congress.

all the current illegals - and those who willl cross really quick to get in before the border closes - they'll vote.  Maybe it'll just be 10 million.  But it'll be enough to swing some close states.

Not a reliable number at all.  It assumes 10 or 20 million people who:  (1) are over 18, (2) disperse in enough states in enough quantities to sway results in battle ground states; (3) are eligible to register to vote; (4) register; and (5) actually vote (for Obama).
