Layne Norton - What is the consensus on his status [natural/enhanced]?

Layne will be making his pro debut this weekend at the IFPA Pro International in Kansas City, Kansas.

Between 2002-2006 I think the majority opinion was that he was natural.  Since then I feel that the majority opinion is that he uses.  Discuss.

Regardless, a thread I had been meaning to post recently was with the question of what the consensus was regarding Layne.  From what I gather reading the boards I would say the consensus is that Layne is not natural.  Is that accurate?

Really?  He would literally be one of the top five best built men in the city I am in.  He must be a lean 200+ at 5'10 and 1/2.

he just doesnt seem like anything special to me......i dont really think he is on anything other than OTC stuff to be honest....he isnt really impressive...

Maybe I'm easily impressed but I think he's huge.  Although given I am smaller than usual right now I guess he looks more impressive to me than he usually does.  Once I get my website updated with the new Joomla content management system in place, I will focus on bodybuilding.  For now, that is my priority but I still want to exercise between now and then for good health.

something else you have to consider is the photo above makes him look a lot bigger than he is...the guy has size, im not saying he doesnt....but he doesnt really have the thickness....if he was standing sideways in that pic i think a lot of people would lean toward natural...

Once again, you look at that picture right there and all i see is a mediocre physique.  The ONLY reason his name gets mentioned is cause hes a big mouth who claims natural status. 
Leafy Bug has built a better body than this, mostly just due to structure.

Maybe so, but there are still 110,000 people here.  There are lots of juicers around here and only a few are bigger than him, at least when his condition is considered.

I think you might be right.  If I my deadlift was closing in on 500 at 170 and eating fuck all, I could only imagine it would be a lot higher if I just tried.  For a guy with Layne's dedication and limb length advantage, 600 is believable to me.  But the thing is, now he is deadlifting 700 or more, so I admit I do have my doubts about him at times.  What is the highest deadlift?

He is natural , his muscles doesn't have the chemical look and I guess at 6 foot height he is under 225 pounds, so it is unlikely that he uses.

you should look into Drupal instead of Joomla.

also you are comparing him to every day "normal" people while these guys are comparing him to other bodybuilders.

for every day walking around the city, hitting the social scene and picking up chicks his builld is ideal

in the BB world he is "meh" or "blah"..and for the record he is not natty..deal with it

Why?  He's only added a few lbs at most since 2006.  He's continued to train the entire time, I would expect any serious lifter (enhanced or not) to gain at least a lb or two every 4-8 years. 
Is averaging a lb of muscle gain every 2-3 years enough to cast suspicion now?
