No, the left and Pelosi as speaker tend to push too far to the left and the current GOP refuses to make any compromise.
Not sure of your age , but I remember when Reagan was President and (dem) Tip O'Niel was speaker of the house.
They worked TOGETHER to come up with SOLUTIONS and passed legislation together.
Way too much ideology for my tastes on the right side of the aisle now.

The red side shouts insults to the blue team and they shout insults back and we all have a crazy time.
The reality is, we all live in the same nation and are on the same team.
The only joke is on us as Americans , if we don't pull together to make our country the best.

I was really into politics until the last few years when it became too polar and divided.
I miss the good old days, when Pres Reagan went out for a steak and wine with the democratic speaker of the house.

Trying to debate politics tthse days is a thankless job with most and they have their mind already made up.
You seem a tad different, so I give you credit for THAT, seriously.

He's from my District in Va... I voted for him.
