a family decides to have a child..born healthy, they raise it lovingly, bond with him, put everything they have into him. then one random day, at age 12, he is playing at the beach when a large flesh eating animal appears and shreds him to death. the shark just had a momentary impulse to investigate the splashing, felt it with its mouth, decided it was nothing, and moved on. meanwhile, this person who was the focus of his parents entire lives is dead, just cause an animal had a random impulse at a random time.
