Why do married people feel the need to tell the world that they love their spouse?

talk to any married person and within a few sentences they will profess their love for their spouse.

umm..doesn't the fact thaty you married them tells us all that we need to know about your affection for them?

I am bringing this to light because there is a guy on my Facebook friends list like clock work will post a comment like "I love my wife she is best wife a man can ask for".
And ofcourse the flock of sheep chime in "ah, so cute, he is a good man".

reassurance? didn't spending thousands and holding a ceremony already tell the world that

this isn't the point, it is societies norms that force some men who are weak to conform and get married have a reg house, kids all that shit, when in reality they really don't want that, they feel so pressured to do that because that is what society tells you to do.  You can just as easily have no kids, live with your partner and be completely fulfilled, no marriage, no kids nonsense and no crazy responsibility.

It's one thing to tell a buddy how your relationship is going and another to profess your love for girl to some random douche.
Guess what, single people could give a shit how your relationship is going...believe me.  Much like how your kids are doing.  Nobody cares, that's why their YOUR kids, for you to care about them.

x2, married people are mostly miserable and wish they were single.  Very small percentage actually are happy.
