Wrong. Here’s the quote:

Sorry Barack. Mexico first became a state independent of Spain in 1821.

Well a lot of the problem is they don't teach history in school anymore. So unless someone who actually know history calls him out no one will question what he says. Why is the public education system so bad? Well here is a prime example. Keep the peons stupid and you can say whatever you want.

i have the same evel of education that obama has... and i have an undergrad degree in history... and i wouldn't think to immediately differentiate spaniards/mexicans by year.

sure, he's the prez, and has a bigger responsibility to get the facts straightb efore speaking... but the spaniards were here first, and they changed their name to mexicans at an earlier date, sure, he's wrong there.  But they're the same folks.  The ppl who lived there were there first.

Yes!!!However,you know what really is important?When Dan Quayle spelled potato wrong.That was a huge issue and I never heard the left even discuss it at all.

Another huge issue was Palin getting clothes paid for so she could go out on the road to campaign.That was another huge issue the left never discussed.

Another monster issue was John McCains affair that the New York Times put on the front page...problem was it was a lie.So even if there is no story,the left will make one up anyway.
