2010 Olympia - The Ghost of Dexter Jackson - no respect

Dexter Jackson won the Mr Olympia title in 2008, 2 years ago. Yet, he isnt endorsed by Muscletech anymore, and nobody even has him in there top picks. How do you go from Mr Olympia to 2 years later even being able to predicted to be in the top 5. Thats got to be humbling. Dex is arrogant but wow, talk about a crash from top to bottom. I wonder if he is even going to be at a booth at the expo?????

He disrespected Arnold at the Arnold Classic, so the ghost of Arnold attacked the ghost of Dexter and the ghost of Dexter never recovered.

he doesnt seem like the nicest guy, but that is pretty fucking shitty

he has been one of the top 3 or 4 guys in the sport for a decade

Six Star is a brand of Iovate, which also owns Muscletech, as well as Muscle Asylum Project (MAP).   

Dexter is and should be in the top 5, but one year ago, very few people predicted Jay would win the Olympia either.

Top five - Kai, Phil, Branch, Jay, Dexter or Victor

Wow - being in this top is no disrespect at all.

Question is - who is going to break into the top six here from the rest of the pack...

ronnie lost his title when he tore the lat...branch got top three after he tore his lat....they only judge conditioning now....

Dexter basically always looked like Dexter.  At any given show he could have won depending on how others looked and in 2008 that happened, possibly in part due to the fact that judges felt he had "paid his dues".  By the same judging standards, Dexter could have won in 2007 I would say [I would have given it to Victor or Dennis Wolf that year].

But for how many years can someone maintain such a high level?  Dexter will be 41 in November and him declining is not a huge shock.  He basically competed for a decade and never came to a show off.  Can anyone really maintain that level?

I've got him in 4th.
I've got Kai, Jay and Phil ahead of him
but Dexter has the best proportion/symmetry
out of that bunch.
He doesn't have the WOW factor the other 3 have
but he has a grainy look that for most black BB's seems hard to achieve.

Dexter has a great chance this weekend if he has improved from the Arnold.  It's between Jay and Kai if they are spot on, but chances are that they will not be.  Neither have a history of being able to repeat their conditioning every time out.  Dexter is always in shape, and if he brought his legs up, he could win it all again.
