Let's face it, most of us are fans of him because of watching him when we were 10 years old...

He's like a clown, only able to put on the act for kids (Wrestling in the ring) and completely one dimensional, and not able to interact above that maturity level.

Also notice that he can only go so long with the attention being on someone else (Brooke) until he's gotta chime in with some stupid wrestling move (Hey, Look at me! Look at me!)

Hulk Hogan seemed like a good father on Hogan knows best.  He appeared like a man who cares genuinely about his kids and wife.

He didn't go into wrestling because he was some sort of high-brow intellectual.  He acts as well as he knows how to.
