He is on his way. He needs to stop playing the size game now, and needs to focis on getting his waist down and bring condition to the stage.

Kai's gut is bad.  What set him apart was the deep striations in his quads, triceps and lower back.  When he looses those, he becomes a good but not great pro.  He does not have the best structure, short torso/boxy.

once the gut is there, its virtually impossible to "bring it down"..unless they completely go off training altogether..even then when they go back, itll balloon up again.

Is Palumboism by definition irreversible?  Or can one have it at one contest then reverse it at a future contest?  I would say that Kai would have been in the top three had he been in condition.  The only thing I would think is that he either made some mistakes in his contest prep or was purposely going for size in order to beat Jay.

0:55 in shows a lot:

I think we on getbig are often too quick to condemn a bodybuilder because of one bad showing.  It is quite possible that Kai comes back to win the Arnold.  I wouldn't write him off yet, it was just a matter of coming in off.  If it was a major injury or something that would be another story.

I personally think the judges punished Kai for being a bit too heavy - he was hyped and didn't deliver as Heath did.

It was a disappointing showing. But seventh place? No.
If he is on the money - "Bye, bye Heath.."

As a said, he wasn't that bad, but didn't live up to the expectations.

Hope he nails it Mr.O 2011, should reassess his drugsintake (.."food and training")..

The only one I see potentially could beat Jay is Kai, Heath "is too narrow" unfortunately - won't get much better, already jacked to the gills. Kai should take it easy with the slin and not being too confident, was almost "cocky" (no homo) at the meeting. (He gave that impression)

Yip, the palumboism is on its way.

Wolf better than Kai?
C'mon!
No way.
Yes, he was robbed a placing or two.

Phil looked much better than Kai on gameday.
Deserved his placing without a doubt.
But as far as "potential" - Phil isn't better.
I prefer Heath's physique, but he looks a bit maxxed out on his frame.
Can Heath even get better due to his lack of clavicles?
(I know this argument is getting old), but Heath should up the GH.

Hahaha!

Too much slin/drugs and...
...abuse of food, how that can be possible.

Not the best shot of Kai.

I start to sound like Wiggs here, defending Kai 'n' shit.. :)
