Bob did a good job TRYING to get the Olympia pros to lighten up and have fun.
Despite his best efforts it was painful to see and hear someone like Kai up there.
Kai seems to have some intellect , but comes across as major space cadet.
Jay on the other hand is gracious and is one of the few who seems marketable for the public.
Most seemed pretty self absorbed and paranoid to me.
I understand being nervous before the big show, but c'mon , loosen up for the fans and have some fun guys!

i gotta hand it to bob, he really has become a great MC in the past couple of years

back in 2004 was the first time i saw him MC a show, the now defunct bodyrock in VA...........and although you can tell he was a comfortable public speaker, he still came off as a bodybuilder trying to be an MC



but now, a few years down the road......he is a gen-U-ine host, who knows how to speak,joke,  communicate to the audience, move things alone, and minimize the awkward moments





good for him, he really carved out a niche for himslef in this industry.............and not like everyone else tripping over each other to do the same thing (start a supplement company)............he did something unique and inventive

Sure they're tired but I've seen folks on their death bed speaking with more enthusiasm.

I honestly think that some IFBB official should speak with the Olympia pros ahead of time and remind them , that this stuff is for the fans! * Show them some scenes from ol' Pumping Iron, with Arnold messing with big Lou, if they need an example.
 You did a good job trying to get "something" out of 'em, but it was like getting blood from a stone.
I know, I know, I know, they are tired and pre contest, but c'mon this is the OLYMPIA!
