no problem with jay.  it's the fixed judging.  jay was clearly 2nd or 3rd after pre-judging...so how he gets 1st is beyond me?  and since the 2nd night is fixed...they made the call on him during the judges meeting before pre-judging. anyway...phil n kai will have their day.

Thats because he looks good on the muscle tech.

He lacks a taper v which is one of the major parts of being the champ. Why bother with symertry, fuck lets just get Ruhl up their and see what happens.

Everyone is hating on Jay because his physique is awful and unaesthetic and they prefer the Dexter/Phil/Rockel build. I tend to think the same: Jay's physique is a mess, but he meets the judging criteria best, he has the size, condition and width. For me Mr O should be someone like Dexter, Phil or even Rockel with a little more size, but that is not going to happen when judges award physiques like Jay's.

The same reason on why Dorian won in the 90s and people still question his wins today.

I think the knock on Jay having such a wide waist is overblown, no pun intended.  The waist to shoulder width ratio is what matters, not that Phil or whoever has a smaller waist.  Ok great, but Jay has WAY wider shoulders.  It's all about illusion.

He looked great back around 2000 - 2001. Still remember how SICK he looked in the 2000 BFTO segment. Compared to then, his shape has gone downhill, but he has too much mass, thickness and size for anyone to handle, which is why he keeps winning.

What is good about him is that he's a very decent, clean cut guy and no one has anything bad to say about him as a person.

Cutler deserved his win. No one was able to topple him. Anyone who carves Cutler is a fool. He had his game on, unlike Kai Green.

Cutler was good enough to win. Not as sharp as last year and even if the difference was not that big, it looked like a big difference 'cause Cutler has to be in top condition to cover his flaws nowadays. But so does Heath and the guy's much younger. He didn't show up in perfect condition either. The only gus who can be a threat for Jay's width and mass are guys like Dex or Vic in top form, w/ very little flaws and showing a much more balanced physique. Which is not Heath's case.

In prejudging I thought Phil was sharper than Jay....On the 2nd night, Jay came in sharper and Phil came in a little smoother, so Jay took it. Dex should have gotten 3rd though, Branch came in grainy as hell, but Dex had better structure and was pretty sharp
