Tell ONE reason getbig is different to other BB boards (or other boards)

It can be a word it can be an explanation but every true getbigger has to post ONE reason why Getbig is unique to
all the other BB boards, what makes you come back to getbig and not end up at the MD forum, or the BB.com Kindergarden.
What is it that you feel makes Getbig special?

I start than:

Honesty (don't laugh) I know everybody here is bullshitting each others and its a big fucking psychedelic place, but Getbig
is honest.
Guess why none of the pros post here (maybe incognito) most of them cannot deal with honesty and run out of steam to defend them self, Apart
from Bob who's a smart cunt to begin with, most cannot hack it and move on to places were people wax their dick, might be a shame for Ron
but that's what getbig is all about, honesty - in a real rude, harsh and fucked up way.

But never less its honesty... your turn.

Exactly.  I was just going to respond "honesty".  It's the truth.  Now, as I've said before sometimes people take it too far by bringing up family of the pros and that I don't care for, but honest critiques are necessary and getbig offers them.  I can't handle boards or any situation where people can't speak their minds.  I hate when dialogue seems forced or controlled.  It may be like that here to some degree but in my opinion getbig remains the freest bodybuilding board on the net.

even though this place has been censored more and more, and more threads disappear and get edited then ever before, and the administration seems to be doing their best to make this place stagnant and sterile like every other board.



Still............compare d to everywhere else, getbig is a place where you are free (for the most part) to post you feelings and opinions , and speak the truth about bodybuilding (to a lesser extent) without being immediately banned or otherwise reprimanded  by some scumbag moderator with an agenda.

Ron lets us get away with a whole lot of shit and is the best administrator I know - he doesn't completely ignore the place nor does he suffocate it with too much interference. We all owe him a big thanks.

GetBig sees through and calls out the phonies, the poseurs, the liars, the arrogant showoffs.... No one is untouchable and you better be able to back up your shit. Respect here has to be earned and if you survive the the initial hazing then you'll be fine though the jackals are always waiting in the wing and ready to pounce if you get complacent and soft.

GetBig has long outgrown it's role has just a bodybuilding board. It continues to amaze me the diversity of topics and the diversity of personalities here. There is no other board like this one.

Some gimmicks are good - esp. the ones that are clearly there to entertain and make things better.

But yes, the ones that bring up shit from 5 years ago or post personal info while having less than 100 posts are worms that we could do without. How lame is it that you have to use another account to speak your mind?
