3. jay - shoulders balance him out
4. phil - odd balloon delts but still dental floss narrow
5. branch - actually good balance because he is so compact but torn lat is distraction
6. dex - just being dex

Branch's torn lat expose-a-mundo .... it looks bad there...

Agree the Top 6 is a hodge podge of who has the least weaknesses ....no nearly complete BB's like 1999 Cormier up there...

Heath's clavicle width doesn't seem to be 'that' much less than some of the others. His pecs have very unfortunate insertion points - if I'd point at anything being narrow on him it'd be his pecs. Can't do much about that though - they're as developed as they're going to get - he just doesn't have the insertions that the others do. I think that hurts him in terms of looking wide.

Jay has the typical swimmer's physique, and Phil is totally narrow with no lats, no chest and funny delts.

I understood the narrow comments somewhat before but I do believe that Phil has big enough shoulders to offset it at this point.

Phil's narrow structure gets exposed when he raises his hands up (front double bi). His lats look narrow because of this. It will be hard for Phil to win the Olympia unless Jay retires, Wolf keeps going nowhere, and Victor & Kai keep blowing their condition.

In the picture, Phil is sitting with a more open stance and more straight up. Jay is in a closed stance with his arms crossing each other and slouched over. If Jay was to sit straight up, then we could see a major difference

Looks like Jay is a little shorter than Phil after all. When I saw Phil in person he looked to be at least as tall as me. I am just a little bit over 5'9" in the morning and usually shrink to 5'8.5" at night. At the time of day I saw Phil I would have been 5'9" or just barely under.

It's hard to say exactly, but I would peg Phil at somewhere between 5'8.5"-5'9.5" depending on the time of day, posture, etc. But it's safe to say that whatever height Phil is, he is slightly taller than Jay.

anyone notice how dramatically jay brought up his lagging right side this year, particularly the right thigh

a few years ago, it was a gigantic, very noticeable problem

but somehow he managed to catch the other side up

Me thinks he got leg extensions, just comepare his legs to jays. There much longer. Its make sense to as itd give a much better chance of carrying the o.
