Did those schools deny Obama attended?  Quite a difference in her case.

If I ever meet Bill Maher I'm going to bitch slap him into next week.  Just an irritating dork.

In order for it to be a double standard, Obama's school would have to state that he didn't attend there.

They haven't.  It isn't.  So you are going to have to try again to make a relevant point here.

Nope.
However, I do have a problem with your stupidity and epic lack of understanding of how to create a proper analogy.  ::) Obama's school records and Christine O'Donnell's blatant LYING about her degrees is are not one in the same. You're a moron.

Good luck in your support of candidates who have no principles!  :-\ In the pre-Obama world of politics this woman would have to drop out of the race for doing this.

what exactly is tomfoolery?  that phrase cracks me up.  I'd love to meet some chick and ask if she wants to have a few shots and get down to some tom foolery :)  may it'd work on 18th century English girls, I dunno.

You did?  Where? Because it isn't on this thread.

Instead of attempting a weak deflection, you should spend more time learning exactly what a double standard truly is.  It will serve you well in the future.

that's not a double standard.  you have no idea what the reaction would have been if, say harvard, up and said, we have no record of the guy ever being here.  I'm sure some wouldn't give a shit as usual but I'm sure some would have had a problem with that.  You really are comparing two different things and calling it a double standard.

I disagree, anything that a public official did in his public life is relevant...

whats the first thing that ppl look at when you go into a job interview?

Knowledge in the area of expertise you should have and then do you "fit" the culture.

Experience is on there, but education is hardly at the top of the list.

and how do you obtain that knowledge? one way is through your education...

what experience had obama had before he ran for president?

in lou of experience what does one look at? education...

again also anything a PUBLIC official did in his PUBLIC life should not be sealed by courts imho

I have found that most education does not really give you knowledge in your field beyond being able to "speak" the required lingo.

I don't think anything a public official does before they are a public official should always be public... Just like I don't think my private life should become public just because I decide to run for office.

It should be about what I do for the public... how I perform THAT function, not how I got there or what my private life before contains.

This whole idea that because you're a public official your entire life should be produced for the public is ridiculous.
