Yip for Today's day and age Sergio's lat's are considered quiet high and that pic of him from the late 1960s shows that, however as Sergio got older he started actually CONTRACTING his back muscles more giving his back a Thicker more proportioned look to go with his outrageous arms and delts (angle withstanding... the pic from 81 illustrates that to a certain degree)

The Sergio pic has been scaled down ROUGHLY 2 scale....looks the same impressive, for a 26-27year Difference in Eras

Not really , Sergio is carrying a lot more fat and water , dry him out and he wouldn't be as big obviously not his fault different eras but he does look more impressive to me at least in some poses

no so called fat , his conditioning sucked his diet was notoriously poor even for his time his conditioning was lacking , he carried a lot of muscle no doubts but he could have been eons better if he followed a strict diet and learned how to peak

Yip your right 1972 was more than likely his prime , however as a older bb mainly the very early 1980s as in 1980-82 Sergio was IMO more Impressive in Certain poses than he was as a younger bber...His Back, Hamstrings and Calves in Quiet a few pics show a more impressive Oliva than in his prime years and his body-weight (its clear from the conditioning in the pictures) was less than his prime years IMO, the side arm pose below is more impressive than ANY picture ive seen of him doing that particular pose in his prime, his conditioning, hamstrings and calves etc was very impressive for the early 1980s

bullshit, he had all the mass in the right places while still maintaining a normal 30 inch waist.

jay and heath have more visible 'abs', at least when they diet and pump diuretics for weeks, but EVEN THEN once they exhale their waists are bloated as FUCK with a bizarre look probably filled with enlarged organs...

sergio could walk around like a normal man with a normal, tight human waist while still having gargantuan upper body and arm size.

Jay today can get huge enough to compensate for his wide as a Buick waist. Back then he couldn't with what they were using, and would not beat Serge on a regular basis. Of course Serge did come in too smooth so Jay might beat him on condition alone.

Ronnie could beat Serge, but Ronnie just on roids and nothing else wouldn't be anywhere close to the GH, insulin machine we saw dominate in the late 90's to 2000. I still think Serge has the best BB genetics of all time (structure, full muscles, no weak points) with Ronnie coming in 2nd. Serge's fries, hamburgers, and soda diets don't quite make it.

I agree with you about his diet or lack thereof. I've read about him eating pizza and Coke. I wish I could eat that and look like him.

So he says. Sergio himself has said that it wasn't Rick you gave him that nickname and in fact doesn't know who did. Rick Wayne tries to take credit for a lot of things.
