There are millions of steroid users worldwide and even the more extreme ones have a low percentage of medical problems...Now compare that to someone that drinks a 5th of whiskey everyday for 20 years and compare the statistics and wonder why are they not kicking in the doors of drunks......

They don't exactly die as a direct result of steroid injections. But suffer from many related diseases and physical issues. And sometimes die from seemingly unrelated conditions or shortened lifespan.

Some of the undisputed effects in varying degree are: Fucked up Cholesterol, heart enlargement, high blood pressure, liver problems or cysts, reduced renal function or complete failure.

It come creeping. But it can be minimized, and it's certainly dose related and depends of your over all health, lifestyle genetics.



Same reason why some people can smoke an live to be a 100 years. Or be drunkards their whole life and still live till old age. While others die within 10 years from the same drug usage.

Not sure if the above is accurate though.

But if you would like to know the true history of how roids became illegal, it's all clearly spelt out in a book written by one of the NPC lawyers.

I forget the name of that book but I'll Google it and post the name below. It's a damn good read.

Rick Collins was the author of the book I'm attempting to find on the net and it might be mentioned in the above website. I'm a bit pressed for time so I have not read the above in detail yet.

The book I mentioned above is LEGAL MUSCLE by Rick COllins..... www.rickcollins.com   (I'm not sure if Mr Collins was connected in any way with the NPC  but his associations with various sports organizations might be mentioned in his website.)

If you are a roid enthusiast or have an adverse opinion on the use of roids for any reason whatsoever, this book would definitely be worth reading.

I read it a few years back when a friend was arrested and found it very informative.

There are a few guys on pro-muscle who had close calls with heart attacks, but not knowing all the variables (diet, use vs abuse, hereditary problems, other drugs etc) it's hard to put it down to the gear.

That's a complete crock. I know lots of guys who train hard both naturally and sauced and they would dwarf or be more ripped than most of the general public in a heart beat. To say that people can't do much in the gym without them is stupid.
