Regardless of the pro's and con's of drug usage, the government should have no say in what we choose to do to our own bodies.

I agree with this point overall. However, who should pay for the health care costs of illness related to use of "gear"?

I know the same could be said for cigarettes, eating a poor diet, etc. Just a thought to ponder

The one individual I know who was proscuted (persecuted) was tossed about within the legal system until they drove him broke and unable to defend himself .... then they simply left him alone.

My humble opinion is that roid use is OK, but roid abuse is not. But neither should warrant a prison sentence.

There are millions of steroid users worldwide and even the more extreme ones have a low percentage of medical problems...Now compare that to someone that drinks a 5th of whiskey everyday for 20 years and compare the statistics and wonder why are they not kicking in the doors of drunks......
