What's the Latest on Myostatin?
« on: October 02, 2010, 03:39:46 PM »
Any rumors on individual human usage yet?

I understand that reliable medical facilities in Canada are searching for individuals in order to run tests on its controlled usage.

Any of you GetBiggers volunteer to be a test subject?

Tests show the myostatin inhibitor can safely increase muscle size, a finding that could benefit many forms of neuromuscular disease such as MD.

Notice that "athletic enhancement" is not mentioned.

Detailed info is available if you think you would be a good test subject.

Or maybe you have a cow you'd like to volunteer.

Yea, but I can fix that .... Thanks, 240!

And while I'm at it, here's Wendy.

You guys should see the rabbit! But I think someone removed it from the net because it scared the kids.

Just on a side note: The Belgian Blue in the pic has a NATURAL myostatin mutation due to breeding.

I remember when this pic hit the cover of Scientific America in like 2005. Still makes my jaw drop and go HOLY FUCK BALLS every time.

I wouldn't mind having a myostatin deficiency. I think that Wendy the Whippet is actually just a few hours away from me too. I should go see what's in the water over there.

Myostatin inhibition is the best way for muscle growth by far. 55% hypertrophy of type II fibers within six month without having to do shit. It is like synthol, right, except that your muscles end up looking like real muscles - because it is - instead of an inflated balloon.
