Not this BS again.

If more people would love to look like a little girl, they would diet like you.

Don't make it as if not eating shit all day was a big thing, because it isn't.

Don't know about you but I prefer to eat food, not shit. ;D

if your diet is so good, why hasn't one competitive bodybuilder ever used it to get into contest shape?

oh yeah, i forgot- it's because they want to look like they have muscle, and not like a 150 pound girl.

you do realise that most girls in figure competitions have more muscle mass than you, right?

He is ripped. It's just as hard to get shredded as it is to get mass IMO. And to get both, that's a true accomplishment with a great deal of genetic luck.

But what he doesn't realize is that just by eating less it will only take you so far. You will lose weight, but compositionally, you will only look like a smaller version of yourself unless you are really overweight, and it will accompany a great deal of strength loss.

Its just not natural. Humans never needed to diet in our evolution.  So its unanatural as fuck. Sure if your young and have high test levels its pretty easy. But are overweight for a reason.  Going on a diet is like not masturbating or fucking for a year its not natural.

It's me. I never took a fatburner in my life (some C in coke zero and some A for headaches aside). All the pics I posted are pics of the food I ate. I have posted a complete food log of everything I ate in 2009. It's kind of a stretch to think I made all of that up.

I guess that is why i have never met a single person who got ripped eating junk food.

Seems like the millions of people following real diets with real results doesn't outweigh the handful of people who "claim" to get ripped eating whatever they want.

As far as guilt, it is a personal thing, many people feel guilt no matter what they do and the fact remains that most people fail because of willpower, not guilt.

So we have 3 people claiming that the millions of nutritionists around the world are idiots.

There are many nutritionists who know the essential rules, usually the ones who have real education and/or are not closely associated with a supplement company.

That is true.

I just cannot fathom why anyone with an education in nutrition would tell severely obese people to eat junk food when they know it will not work.

Someone who is lean and has a solid physical foundation can do what you and Adonis claim, but anyone who is overweight is just making it harder on themselves.

You can throw Science around all day long, but it is "applying" the Science to the real world that makes it difficult.

Anyway, preach on.

That doesn`t make any sense.

Neither does anything you say. We are not talking sense, we are talking real applied Science. I can come up with a thousand reasons why everything you say is illogical, but i am not wasting time on that.

We need some sort of real proof, your 3 year old photos don't hold any water and neither does WL photos. In this day it is very easy to alter photos, use proper lighting and use tons of drugs over the internet. It doesn't make any sense to believe a word either of you say.

Anyone who believes what you two say and bases their conclusion off a bunch of altered photos is really ignorant.

Preach on guys...

Guilt has absolutely nothing to do with going on a diet... Its the discipline and willpower to succeed that seperates the winners from the failures... As for getting ripped by eating junkfood... I dont even want to comment on that..... ::)

I have never really read any of WL's diet topics, so sorry if I say the obvious:

Even if 1 calorie is 1 calorie, and let's say you follow a 1500 kcal diet (150g carbs, 200g protein, low fat), in terms of hunger it seems to be more satisfying to eat 200g rice + lots of chicken/fish etc per day than eating 1 Big Mac in the morning, and eating another in the evening...

The problem is that there is no such thing as "junk" food, so the discussion about it is moot IMO.

I don't think that a diet containing the foods you love (what you may call "junk" food) makes it harder on most people. On some, yes. That's why it is important to know what is essential and what is not. This way the diet is flexible enough for people to actually be able to stick to it.

I see people failing all the time because they think they must follow 1000 unnecessary rules. And many people finally succeeding as soon as they dropped them.

That's what I mean with guilt. Feeling guilty about not having the "discipline and willpower" to follow unnecessary rules.
And of course you can get ripped on "junk" food, whatever that is.

That depends on the individual. If it is more satisfying and one can easier stick to a diet of chicken, fish and rice, that's perfect of course.

I think you can have more freedom in your diet and still lose fat (mainly the first weeks),  but that does not mean you can eat kitkats everyday... we all know what happens lol.

This is true, but like Deicide said it's hard once you allow yourself a little snack to not justeat 20 bars of chocolate and go nuts, since when dieting you get reeaaalllyy hungry.

Also when putting all that hard work in with your diet you don't want to only feel like you did a half arsed job, it's important psychologically to feel like you've done your best.

However this does sort of prove Wavelengths slightly retardedly made point that the guilt of cheating owns my mind when dieting, or rather the fear of cheating, since what's done is done.

He just doesn't get it!!

Two Bigmac meals a day may give you 2000 calories and you still have a slight deficit so you actually lose weight, but you get way too much carbs, saturated fats and all the other shit this way.

Say goodbye muscle!

I am trying to cut calories and felt guilt when I couldn't skip dinner and had bacon mac+cheese.

It is really a fuckin bitch to cut calories cuz at 300lbs I am fukin hungery.

I start to wonder if I am being a tool and should jog every day and do lots of volume instead of hit+cal reduction.
Are you still sure if I reduce and lift 3x I can get cut as you?

Any encouragement appreciated sincerely.

Carbs and saturated fats are shit?
You may not get enough protein for optimal body composition in your example but that's it.
And I never said you should only eat big macs, for optimal health e.g. additional rules may apply.

Not sure if you're serious but if you are:

Cardio is fine if it makes the diet more convenient (since you can eat more). If you will feel less hungry depends, some people do, some people don't. Also if you're hungry all the time you can try to play around with meal frequency and timing.
