When I listen to old songs I grew up on, many of them are themed "I love you, you don't love me, but I'm gonna win you over" or I'm not giving up until you love me, or you love him but you should be loving me..and the old " I can't live without you" songs



When I was younger I thought they were cool songs. Now I listen to them and I can't help think "Man up dude and get over it" Why do we think it's cool to try and convince someone practically against their will that you are the one? Hell half the songs would qualify the person as a stalker..
