YOUR country is a joke at times

I heard that in the your country (THE US) the dumber your arguments are the more likely it is you will get elected in your country's mid-term elections

Apparently some people believe that police forces, social security, education and health services should be fully privatised to be provided by Homer Simpson Inc (together with nuclear plant risk management, of course)  while the difficult stuff like military contracts pork, oil contracts, church subsidies,  financial institutions profits, etc be distributed by a small number of people due to special pleading 

Strikingly the same % of the population believe that there is nothing gay about bbing

To be fair there are a lot of dumb canadians in the "my country is a joke at times" thread making those statements.
