Depends, whethers its the Panamera, Panamera 4, Panamera 4S, Turbo, or Turbo,  methinks thats a Turbo , so you are looking at 150K (US $), depending on options. The Turbo starts at $135,000. Porsche likes to eff with you when it comes to options, that is why they were (or are) the world's most profitable car company, and why they could have (but didn't) take over VW.

Do they make a 2 door for Alpha's?

probably around 90,000 to 130,000, depending on your options.
you guys are lucky, here in South Africa the base model without options is $115k, the top of the range $250k before loading on options

cars are much more affordable in europe and especially the usa

A supposed leaked sketch on Porsche's website, shows a rendering that maybe a Panamera Coupe (2 doors)

yeah, you posted as I was typing

thats all good, but we get knocked on the duties and taxes big time

the us is a huge market so theyre more relaxed on pricing to you guys, dont know how your duties and taxation work on imports

not just for new, 60's musclecars (chargers, stangs, etc) that will go for $10k there, are fetching $75-100k here

you'll be waitng, a while. Since VW has taken helm, it might not nor ever will, come to fruition. But, Porsche needs something to take on the Ferrari 599 and it's replacement, the Aston Martin DB9 and it's replacement, the new M6 coming, etc. These are all high performance GTs, and Porsche wants in on it, because they have missed out since the 928

If you do order one, always black, always....and Yes, any Porsche is a good sound "emotional" investment. Just ask Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Arnold S, and Bill Gates.

Well we have gas guzzler taxes, delivery, and some cars we cannot even get, do to emissions and safety regs. And then there is the insurance...

I had a uncle that drove a 1966 Pontiac Catalina from 1966 until 2005, as a daily driver, he saved a ton on insurance, taxes,  car payments, etc. And it was a freakin tank...

He spent his olympia money on a car lol.

Why not? That's only part of his annual income.

And if you are driving a car there is a good chance that you bought it on leverage (debt that is) because you probably don't make after taxes in a year enough to buy any sort of new car... and definitely not Porsche...

A car is a great investment lol. After 2 years is gonna be worth half what he bought it for.

Yeah, you're right.
But as true car enthusiasts know, there is no price tag on pleasure of driving fine car.

Sure there is better ways to use money but at the end it all comes down to personal preferences... what you value over something else.

Plus there is a good chance that Phil will make enough money in coming years not to regret his Porsche purchase at any point in his life.
