these guys are not very bright lights in the first place, they see mtv cribs and want to emulate their rap heros.

Except when rappers make millions while on top of the charts, these fools make less than $200,000 per yr for several years and still try to live the lavish lifestyle ::)

Phil's making way more than 200K/ year...

Why would anyone else care what the fuck he decides to spend his money on?

With the imbalance of money coming (contests and endorsements) in compared to money going out (drugs and food) these pros should learn how to do without the flash.

Phil Heath already earned $100,000 from 2nd place of Mr.O

But once taxes are taken out how much is that?

$60,000 or so?

Chuck?

I would take it to the dealer, get my $$$$$ and head over to GM for a Z06...maybe even a ZR1. Yep.

Best handling in class? It weighs almost 5000lbs
So do most of it's competitors, genius. It's a Porsche, and Porsche will make sure it handles well first and foremost. It also out performs the the Aston Martin Rapide (the four door coupe). You are forgetting that this is a Porsche, not a STI. It has a posh interior, befitting a luxury car, and the CEO of Porsche had stated that he should be able to fit in the back seat, he is 6'5, which is why that back looks like that. Besides, what almost 5,000 pound 4 door can do 0-60 in 3.2 secs?

Couldn't you get the same amount of power for half the price?
http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/panamera/panamera-turbo/
Sti with mods should do it easy for 60g.

If the keys were handed to you, would you still say yuck?  ;D
EXACTLY! Obviously this a nice car, Phil is a young guy with a great future in BB, so why not enjoy his success.
A real expensive car is never my style, I would put the $$ in something safe like Treasury bonds ( * making 6.5% now and safe).
BUT, then again, you only live once and why not enjoy it. Sometimes you just gotta say WTF!
MAYBE  Phil already has some % of his $$ in safe investments?

I suspect Phil can afford a porsche and who cares if it is lease

It is absurd in my opinion.
That is why I refuse to have a facebook or twitter account.

::)
And, you'd have no warranty, unreliable and a shitty ass interior compared to the Panamera. Plus, what would get if you mod a 500 plus hp Panamera Turbo? A STI is good car, but the quality is not there, the Panamera is in another league. You can drive up in confidence to a nice restaruant, with wife and friends, but imagine doing that in a bright blue STI with a big wing, or the current hatchback? The inside of the Panamera is like freaking Leerjet, and it has a double clutch transmission...

Panamera weights 4123lbs

and a Hennessey V700 CTS-V weighs roughly the same at 4200lbs does 0-60 in 3.3 and the 1/4 in 11.1@129MPH probably costs less too
