Beck on "God Complex"

Beck was talking today about the "God Complex" progressives have and that being the basis of their beliefs and desires.

Beck's statement...paraphrasing ...progressives do not believe rights come from a creator, therefore rights must come from man and it is up to man to determine how these right are used and how they are rationed out, all done for the good of man...the idea, they are taking the role of the creator due to the absence of one.

Now he wouldn't say all atheist are progressives, he even mentions one of his best friends, (he named the guy but I can't remember his name) Beck said an atheist, even if he doesn't believe in a creator, can understand the law of nature, that all men are men but that the progressive see a need for a creator, a god to bestow rights, creator rights or natural law is not cohesive nor efficient.

He showed an interesting quote by George Soros, king ding dong financier of the progressive movement:
“It is sort of a disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out”


I don't know how else to put it, these people are scary and the biggest threat to this nation in history...how can some people still not see this?

Interesting.  I watched a bit of his show last night and he was talking about the history/views of progressives, etc.  Showed an alarming clip of a woman in Europe talking about how she and any parent who loved their suffering child would kill the child. 

He really does have a good show.

I know a lot of guys here don't like his show or even like him, which I just can't understand. No one exposes more truth and butt slams more lies than Beck. Maybe his style is different, it is, and maybe that irritates some people but I say who cares. Here's someone telling the truth, not bowing down to the traditional media...how some here still hate him when everything he believes is spot on with their own beliefs is beyond me.

I saw that video. I think I posted it here but can't remember. Interesting note about that video, she is a hard-line Obama supporter and friend to Obama. She is considered a visionary in journalism by the Obama admn.

No surprise really...remember back when there was a failed abortion so they put the baby in a closet until it died? The senate held a vote to pass law to ensure this never happened again...Obama showed up for the vote, how did he vote? "Present" not yes or no, just "Present."

There is a thread on here somewhere about that "born alive" bill and Obama's vote.  That vote showed what an extremist Obama is on abortion.

Obama and the progressive machine, the true meaning of the word "Progressive' has been defined and made public so well the past two years, I bet a million bucks you won't hear those like Clinton and McCain proudly attaching their names to it anymore. "Progressive" is quickly becoming the "Commie" of the modern day...only worse.
