It seems that everyone is getting them these days.

The best pesticide for bed bugs was Diazanon.  You would apply it along the corners of the room where the walls meet the floor...but it is no longer marketed because hypocondriacs thought it gave their kids asthma.

There is something strange going on here. I've never ever heard of anybody getting bed bugs and never really knew what they were. That there actually is a special class of these bugs. Just know them from the rhyme "Good night, don't let the bed bugs bite." Never really thought they actually existed or rather never really gave it much thought at all. Now it seems like either you have them or know someone that does. It's somewhat big news here in Hawaii. I just heard a news report today about the sales sky rocketing for some product that protects your bed from these pests.

Maybe Sev can shine some light on this. Everything about this epidemic just stinks of reptilian hybrids. These things just don't come out of nowhere. Seriously, when have you ever heard of anybody having a problem with bed bugs until now?

Well, I have read up on the subject this past week; basically they were all but eradicated by the 80's but they are making a major comeback; some parts of London have had  a 1500% increase! There are many reasons; warmer winters, people aren't using pesticides of the same sort (they caused health problems to humans), resistance developed through mutation but yes, they are becoming an epidemic in Europe and the US. Mos importantly; travel. Everyone is going everywhere these days so the beasts travel with you, sneak into a nook or cranny in your suitcase or folded clothes, boom! Also, they can survive up a year without food (blood) so they can suddenly 'appear'.
