« on: October 12, 2010, 01:42:34 PM »
I figure, all I need to do is do cardio for 3 months and eat worse than now.  What do you guys think?
If I here another thing about this gay routine...oh brother.

Been doing a mean routine for 15+ years, all you get are roid comments.  Some clown loses 4lbs of fat, they get praise from the masses....please. ::)

I have to agree on this... all the people I have seen using and praising this shit are either small with little to no muscle mass, or fat shits that need to lose 20lbs to even look any different.

this is no different really from women in the 80's and 90's with their jazzercise and step bullshit, but this time around it's dudes that are caught up in the 'revolution'.   ::)

Yes, people are sheep, if you didn't know.
Put on 50lbs of muscle no drugs over many years, people say...steroids.  Lose 6lbs on the P90X, they act like you just won the fucking Olympia.

There is always something that gets someone to get in shape. Question is how long will someone use this...

What is P90X?

There are two necessary components to getting fit and staying fit:

To get real results, you can’t have one without the other! While this sounds simple on paper, as we know, it’s all in the details. P90X was built on real science. It’s a home workout system that took over a year of intense research and planning to develop by leading fitness experts and nutritionists. The goal was to not only address these two crucial components, but to a create a program that maximizes results and allows users to have an organized, effective, step-by-step game plan that works specifically for them. In short, no angle was overlooked.

How does P90X Work?

The P90X workout system uses the training science of Muscle Confusion. Over the course of 90 days as your body changes, so do the workouts. The exercise portion of P90X consists of 3 Phases that continuously introduce new moves and routines into the mix. This makes each stage of P90X as effective as the first (it also happens to keep you from geting bored of the same old thing!).

P90X offers this unique approach because research has found that results from traditional workout programs tend to trail off over time. The more the body adapts to the same old routine the less effective it becomes. This phenomenon is known as the "Plateau Effect.” By alternating between many different movements, the P90X workouts avoid this pitfall and challenge your muscles to continue to grow, increasing your results throughout the entire 90 days. Take a look at the video to the left to get a better idea of how this works.

there are many diff paths to the final result.

alot of people doing the p90x are professionals, parents etc that have gotten out of shape and needed to do something.

crotch, your whining is old already. instead of putting people down, why not help or shut the fuck up? btw, what happened to your funny vids?

It's just putting things into perspective.  It's not putting down getting into a fitness routine....though I do think it's a sheep driven market.  Shit has been around forever, it just blends all the different types of fitness routines.
Bro, putting down things is enjoyable.  I've been doing it since 9...why stop now? ;D

Best way to keep your muscle is by doing a HIIT workout two to three times a week that consists of plyometrics work while also incorporating simple things like jumping rope and sprints. These workouts shouldnt take more than 20 minutes or so each of the 2-3 days. Your cardio will become great and you wont lose any of your mass as long as you keep eating as you ate before. Still do your normal weightlifting work however. Ive been doing this for about 6 months and have seen great gains. Havent lost muscle and have actually gotten stronger in the gym.
