Not a big fan of Bill but I like this video. I get Bill's point, but "Muslims" as a community did not attack us. Islamic extemists did. I do think the Muslim community deserves a lot of criticism, because they have never come out as a community and denounced the actions of 9-11.

To me the topics of religion and sexuality are NON issues.
I am straight and also don't follow any religion or faith.
So long as NOBODY tries to force me to believe in GOD a certain way or tells me how to have sex.
I do have a problem with those that try to make sex or morality laws based on religion.

As for the 9/11 smosque site, if it was my call, I would say no religious group within a mile, period.
Freedom of religion is also freedom FROM religion.

I hate all religions with equal gusto.  I wish no churches, mosques or synagogues would be built from this day forth and the ones that are existing are to be turned into bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores, museums, libraries and gymnasiums.

Not a fan of Bill at all - but I actually agree with him on this - And I come from a Muslim Family  - It was MUSLIM extremists who bombed the twin Towers, and I personally believe a Mosque should NOT be built at the planned site - just so not needed there!

But I have to disagree with the original poster Makavelli25 about one thing:  Muslims leaders and communities all over the Middle East have dennounced the attacks countless times, believe me I've lived in the Middle  East and have travelled to different places there.... just because you personally did not hear it doesn't mean it hasn't happened.  Many  leaders of Muslim countries have come out with statements against these attacks and produced zero tolerance policies when it comes to extremism and terrorism.

Furthermore, I think The View is a terrible show (I've watched it a few times with my wife), because its run by a bunch of women who can't control their emotions, they are constantly inviting guests and then dissing them!!! Who does that?  How do you invite someone and because you don't like their view you start to bash them and diss them, its ridiculous, eventually guests will stop coming to the show, so unprofessional.  Whoopi and Joy should be fired for their actions!

The real problem for me is trying to place everyone in a box with a label.
I am a democrat and don't belong to any church and am pro choice. BUT, I also served in the US marines, hate most gun laws and think welfare $$ is a joke.
The reality is that the hot button issues drown out the real key fiscal issues for the middle class working man.
Having a mosque near the 9/11 site or a gay couple getting married has very little actual impact on the avg person's life, so I culd care less about that crap.
