I don't know Chick well enough to quote or rather, misquote him. I try to give give most people the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I suspect he does not respond in a vitriolic manner as he works hard to represent his chosen field (note that I did not say "sport") and engaging in what amounts to little more than sophomoric oneupmanship is not something that lends itself well to that endeavor.
For the greater part the internet lends itself well to hiding behind a facade of anonymity. I think that Chick has long since chosen to not wear such a mask. The price one pays for doing so is to behave as an adult. The reward is often the respect of more than a few people that realize just what is going on.
For those that don't get it, allow me to try and expain myself. One need not agree with Chick or anyone else here to behave in an agreeable manner.
