I've never been.  I've never heard anyone say anything positive about it in my 31 years...and it seems to be getting worse...At least Mississippi gave us Brett Favre.

Beaches suck ass, not like Florida beaches. Any beach on the East coast north of Virginia Beach pretty much is a no go, including Ocean City, Md.

I've heard that the ones near Cape Code/Kennebunkport (sp) are pretty decent.

New Jersey is supposed to suck and everyone here wants to get out to live in NYC, right? Then How come all these wealthy yuppies from Brooklyn and Queens are always looking in my neighborhood in New Jersey? All these New York Investment Bankers and other financial types have been moving in droves into my town over the last 10+ years. These guys (and gals) can't wait to move to Jersey, Connecticut or Long Island when trying to get out of the five boroughs of NYC.

New Jersey is the most densely populated state in America, and you'd know it if you lived here.

Some of the people you may be familiar with that are from other places (mostly New York) yet CHOOSE to live in New Jersey:
Danny Aiello
Ice-T & CoCo
Sean "Diddy" Combs
George Benson
Muhammed Ali
Missy Elliott
Connie Chung
Mary J Blige
Damon Dash
Stevie Wonder
Yogi Berra
Alan Alda
Lil' Kim
Heather Locklear
Eddie Murphy
Chris Rock
Brooke Shields
Ja Rule
Russell Simmons
Fat Joe
Reverend Run
DMC
Paul Servino
Andre Braugher
Steve Colbert
Geraldo Rivera
Byron Pitts
Phil Simms
Dave Winfield
Donovan McNabb
Jason Kidd
Javon Kearse
Gary Sheffield
Mary Higgins Clarke

I'm trying to be civil...if you want a fight, I'd have no problem paying someone to hack and post all your personal information and make you regret ever coming to this board...I have more than enough money to do so...keep going...."brotha"....that's in response to the Uncle Tom Cabin and now this...

Take your grumpy ass somewhere else you old fuck...
You mad? LOL  ;D
Uncle Tom's coming to get me? Oh, I'm terrified!  ::) ::)

Fuck outta here you cheese eatin' Stepin Fetchit.  >:(

I personally like NJ a lot. You guys forget, almost none of the people on " The Jersey Shore" are actually from NJ.

Good beaches (especially in the more quiet areas like Belmar), good nightlife in the summer, quiet, outside of Newark and a few industrial cesspools, it's much cleaner than NYC, best Diners in the United States, hot easy college chicks, lots of history and your still a short drive from Manhattan.

I think NJ just has a stigma attached to it and that gay ass reality tv show has made it worse.
