NPC's oversaturation of the Pro ranks with bad quality?

Many of these guys (and girls) should not have been given Pro Cards from the NPC. They have more people entering the contests, meaning raking in more at the gate and entrance fees, yet piss poor quality...

Ya'll need to do something about this Ron and Isaac, seriously if this continues, you won't be seeing anymore Phil Heath's, Dex's or Roelly's anymore. In fact, look to more foreign contests to produce the better quality, like Roelly.

Dude are you serious?? Have you seen the "pros" these 3rd world countries have produced??? Most of them have the quality of a state/regional NPC show....The NPC nationals has the highest content of the best physiques in the world...Some do get pushed through due to who they know, but tough competition none the less

you're absolutely right.  in the old days there were only 3-4 pro cards per yr.  didnt they give out like 4 at the jr usa or something like that?  i lost count around july-aug.  i can understand giving out 10 per yr for bikini to build up the pro ranks but men's bbing

The sport has become very insular.
They are NOT even trying to expand the fan base.
Most of those that went to see the Nationals were directly involved with someone in the show, or the sport ( judge, compete, former pro, etc).

That Greek guy, then Roelly Winklaar, other guys from islands who are amatuers, that boyish looking Russian, Japan and Korea have good quality muscle--albeit smaller.
You can not deny that the quality of Pros getting cards look like refries shit a la Robert B, abd even Jason Huh, they lack that crisp quality. These shows are only money makers for Mcmanion, that's why the men's fitness division, even the Bikini division.

It is getting worse and I have been going to shows for over 3 decades, yikes.
I decided to fcous on smaller local shows where I enjoy a more "grass roots" bodybuilding atmosphere similar to what my ideals were when I started in BB. I will ONLY go the judging at bigger events that come to my area from now on. Screw the night show finals with 300 bikini babes and panting schmos in the crowd hehehe
Had I only gone to the BB prejudging at the nationals I would have felt better about the sport and saved some $$$...win-win.
I got to see some good bodybuilders compare, circulate in a less dense crowd, talk to Bob and others I enjoy seeing, etc.

I think their thing has more to do with getting plenty of hot pics of the endless string of bikini babes sticking their butts out.

Kuclo is my pick, I see this guy from time to time, works really hard, and has amazing size, shape and structure. Now if he can get his conditioning down he will be hard to beat. Will make a good pro.

How is it that there are so many pro cards given out in USA when many UK, German, Asian competitions have far better competitors and its almost impossible to get a pro card there

what amaze me the most when i surf on u.s forum is the dose of gear that people use.

you can see lot of guy of 200pds cycling with 1000 of test e and 800 of eq and 75 mg of dbol  for 20 week and they look like shit, maybe they're too many fake gear in usa.

500 of test e and 400 of deca in h.g gear with few dbol is enough to make big boy explose in my gym.
