What was this guy on to morph into what he became at his prime, only to regress to a very slope shouldered, narrow natural build when off

surely a lot of something, and good response, but what do you guesstimate that was? I mean, that was some mind-boggling size on what is a great frame (tall and "wide"), but he's not a "naturally" big guy, like a Kazmaier for example, who even untrained is still a big man.

I believe Paul had probably the best response to drugs in the history of the IFBB...I have no solid proof to back this up but when you look at when he's out of shape to what he can morph into, and it's not like he was the hardest worker in the gym and ALLEGEDLY he didn't take a ton of shit.

lol...I see what your saying but I can say with reasonable confidence that he wasn't a SEO guy...it's all his...He just has the best response to drugs....even better than Levrone....

Between the first and second pics he is just water logged , the second pic he is still huge.. all it is - is low bf and  no water ,that with good insertions and full bellys will make you look 10  plus pounds bigger than you are.

He hated needles btw. and loved aBombs.

When I trained at Gold's Venice in the early to mid 1990s I thought Dillet was easily the most impressive bodybuilder there. Flex was more pleasing to the eye but Paul was just mind blowing. So huge he looked like he was from a another planet. A different species on a different scale of humanoids. Lazy as fuck, worse even than Flex, but just stupid big.

As an aside, I became very friendly with this petite blond chick and the feelings seemed mutual. I considered making a play but felt the chick was just too small and petite for me. Now, I'm no Parker and tend to like my women on the slim side but this girl seemed just too small for me and we wouldn't look right together. Later, I would find out that she started dating Dillet. LOL. I was sure it wouldn't last because not only the size difference but Dillet came across as not too sharp and didn't seem to have much of a personality. But I think it actually turned out to be a serious relationship. Not 100% sure, though.

There are a handful of people who will consistently do things they dislike or even hate. These are the exceptionally tough and disciplined individuals. I didn't know Dillet personally but I saw him train regularly and over heard a lot of his conversations (and bitching and complaining). Paul did not strike me as a tough dude.
