I really don't know exactly what is up with this picture.  In the contest pictures before it was his right triceps that was injured, not his left.  Although it would make sense that this is from an old injury that the Canadian health care system just now managed to fix.  WOO!!!  Socialized health care!!!  Wait 18 MONTHS for simple, routine procedures!!!  Ration care with a bunch of welfare scum because it is only fair since they are "oppressed" by society!!!  Yeah baby, change you can believe in!!

Exactly!  Which I'm sure Frank does.  It's just that when a Canadian bodybuilder gets an injury they would have to wait god knows how long for surgery.  Those kinds of injuries really should be dealt with immediately.  I hope Frank comes back but I'm not sure how motivated he is to compete.  I read on the boards once that he is lazy regarding self-promotion.

if his injury was life threatening or needed attention because it would end up making him a burden on society then rest assured it'd have been taken care of.

the truth is that he couldve worked, couldve parented, and couldve contributed to society with his silly little triceps injury just fine.

its GOOD that your heatlh care system took ages to fix it- its great that he got it fixed for free..if that is what happened.

IF he got it fixed for free then its an indication of a society that has it correct..and its his damn fault that he doesnt choose to pay for private coverage that wouldve got him into an expensive private hospital to do whatever surgery he wanted, when he wanted or needed it.

Are you nuts Matt? I get sports drinks for 6 for $4. Even name brands. How many mls are we talking? Hell the gas stations sell gatorade for 1.75 and their prices are much higher than the grocery stores in Toronto.

The Canadian economy is much better off then the US economy. Our banks didn't over leverage like the US ones did, and are very solid. Our dollar is on par with the US, and employment is fine. Our soiallist government stopped the big banks and investment houses from the fraudulent housing meltdown the US had. The US is just printing money at this point and can't finance it's own debt. The US dollar is going down the drain.

  Of course saying all that I still prefer my time in the US during the 80's - 90's. It was one hell of a party. Sadly American today are paying for the post party hangover of unlimited over spending. The excess was nice.

social health care is a fantastic idea in theory, its simply that the thinkers of the idea didn't account for millions of uneducated bums that refuse to work and pay back into the system.

Agree. A good health care system is important for most of the population which, unless you're lucky or very successful, is what you belong to.
And even with that some things like dental implants are mostly beyond financial reach.

From what i read online, he was in a serious Car wreck a few months ago not sure if that Cut was from the accident tho... and i believe he no longer lives in canada, he lives out in palm springs, ca.  where he was doing some personal training

I had a mediocre $10 an hour job after while I was going to school, and they offered private HC that I paid like fucking $20 a month for, and it paid for almost everything. It was rediculous. I think the most I had to pay was like $40. Hospital visits, etc. So its out there if you look for it and work for it. Its part of that whole aspect of scoping out your job, and weighing the benefits.

I had a mediocre $10 an hour job after while I was going to school, and they offered private HC that I paid like fucking $20 a month for, and it paid for almost everything. It was rediculous. I think the most I had to pay was like $40. Hospital visits, etc. So its out there if you look for it and work for it. Its part of that whole aspect of scoping out your job, and weighing the benefits.
