Anyone here bounced at nice or respectable bars/clubs?

The likes of "Okami" and "SgtSpar" have apparently bounced at the roughest toughest clubs in ghettos"    In fact everyone here who claims to have bounced - its always in rough tough clubs!!  "okami" was doing this as an 18 year old man child too

I have never bounced, and would never want to. I do go to clubs where celebs go, but always as a guest.

I do know some bouncers from the gym, and they are OK guys, but in general I have so say I don't particularly like bouncers or really pay them too much attention. I once helped a bouncer throw out a guy which was actually quite fun (I think I mentioned that story on GetBig a while back...).

Years ago i bounced at some clubs, not rough clubs but not ultra posh either, never had any trouble was an easy job but a bit boring, luckily me and a friend were doing it together, i would never want to bounce at rough clubs.

Believe it or not, one of the coolest clubs I go to has no bouncers at all. One door bitch, and that's it. After that, everyone who gets in is cool and hasa good time.

Dont know where you live but in the UK you need to do a "door supervisor" course which includes things like first aid, restraining people,etc. Then you get your "badge". Then its easy to get a job.
