His athleticism for his size was off the friggin charts. Just an amazing natural athlete. That moonsault off the top rope is incredible. I think that if he wasn't a wrestler with a big, thick neck....he would have had a broken neck in that wrestlemania match with Angle where he missed that move.

As much as i dislike MMA i think MMA saved Brocks life, he would have been dead by 40 like every great wrestler before him if he didnt leave wrestling the coke, the painkillers, the booze it all goes hand in hand with wrestling

friend on back of grbage truck got chest back caught between telepole n truck in reverse will on back truck crushed so hard couldnt yell wasnt until driver looked bak to see y wasnt moving then foward released n fell to ground. dr said the hvy muscle chst bak saved him anyone else woulda cracked for real.

funny that wrestling is a work yet is in so many ways more tuff n brutal than any other sport...
who would think that staged fightn leaves ppl more battered than real fighting...

yeah prob one of the highest forms of adrenaline someone can get...  20k pakd houses night after night,, mon nite always the high point and 1 a month paypervws,,, back in the day it was better wit 4 then therd be 70k not to mention worlwide.. everywhere these guy went...

they wntd to keep him for at least 10-20yrs...  meanwhile angles getting worked on for 20 mins bfore each match not to mention prob a pin cushion for novcaine , cortisol/corticos what ev else/or for 10 min before walking out the curtain.

even still he was getting a big push,,, to the point where he was gona be made an icon is sport pop culture maybe thats y he pikd the time to leave wwf,,, he was blazn hot,,, prob woulda went real unnoticed if he went to combine or vik tryout or.... mma,, he would still be fightin low mid card now n maybe just start to get recognized now... (which was everyone beef back when he started) but biz is biz so he had the name, perceived capabilities and he was a draw that could sell tix so he got pushd obv hes stayn and hios true talent  & colors ar shining thru which were gona anyway...
just as ppl in wwf know it,, if u follow wrestling and knew the stories when brock 1st strarted mma,,, u knew he was gona end up bein the best and for a while too.

the point that ppl miss is that he almost made the team,,, in his very 1st yr...
how many ppl can even walk into a open combine and make an arena lge or nfl europe,,,
a very small percent%
certainly, if he woulda trained at it for a yr or 2 brock woulda playd proball as a starter wthn 3-4 yrs.

I think the problem was Brock wanted to play defense and they turned him into an offensive lineman and he didnt really want to play that position so he gave up, Brock is a strong and driven dude if given the shot to play defense in the NFL im sure he would have worked his ass off to make be a starter
