just like any riot, it seems like there were a few genuinely pissed off people, which escalated into destruction and theft and chaos, which won't resolve anything, but put more financial burder on everyone.

In an ideal world, the immigrants should fund their own life and retirement as well, correct?
Of course, we know this not to be true.  Places like Ireland , France, Germany, and the US are hit pretty hard by this. 

In the US i think it's 65 for Social Security benefits, but there's been a no benefits increase freeze for 3 years now i think.
According to the prinout I get, i'd get $1600 a month from social security "if i retired now".

Of course, it said that number might go down after 2035, but it shouldn't go down past more than 35%, whatever the fuck that means.

Either way, I'm saving for my own retirement, because the gloryholes in Washington are too fucking stupid for me to rely on them.

Back in the day in sweden (when my father retired) you got 100% of your salary for the rest of your life, which I think is good considiring how many millions ypu have paid in taxes and how little of that % will be repaid to you.
