In an increasingly desperate attempt to develop a narrative for the coming Democratic collapse, the Democrats have indulged themselves in what for half a century they've habitually attributed to the American right -- the paranoid style in American politics. The talk is of dark conspiracies -- secret money, foreign influence, big corporations, with Karl Rove and, yes, Ed Gillespie lurking ominously behind the scenes. The only thing missing is the Halliburton-Cheney angle.

But after trotting out some of these charges with a noticeable lack of success, President Obama has come up with something new, something less common, something more befitting his stature and intellect. He's now offering a scientific, indeed neurological, explanation for his current political troubles. The electorate apparently is deranged by its anxieties and fears to the point where it can't think straight. Part of the reason "facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time," he explained to a Massachusetts audience, "is because we're hard-wired not to always think clearly when we're scared. And the country is scared."

Opening a whole new branch of cognitive science -- liberal psychology -- Obama has discovered a new principle: The fearful brain is hard-wired to act befuddled, i.e., vote Republican.......Faced with this truly puzzling conundrum, Dr. Obama diagnoses a heretofore undiscovered psychological derangement: anxiety-induced Obama Underappreciation Syndrome, wherein an entire population is so addled by its economic anxieties as to be neurologically incapable of appreciating the "facts and science" undergirding Obamacare and the other blessings their president has bestowed upon them from on high.

I think it's funny how 333386 keeps calling Obama a communist...no offense to 333386!  I don't know about a communist, but when Obama goes on record saying stuff like the above and also trying to suppress Fox News, it sounds a lot like a dictator or a self proclaimed King:  Suppress the Media, people are too stupid to vote and too stupid to govern themselves, therefore only the enlightened King(Obama) should be allowed to govern, etc.

I believe at heart obama is a commie but is smart enough to realize that he could never get to where he is now admitting as such or even remotely saying so.

my belief is based on his mentor Frank Marshall Davis, his intentionally seeking out the marxist professors in college, allying with Ayeres and Wright, joing the socialist party, etc etc.

Well I certainly appreciate Obama. I'm neither joking, nor kneepadding as 333386 likes to call it.

I truly appreciate what he is doing. No other leader or head of state has gifted us with this level of opportunity.
He is presiding over what is about to be the biggest transfer of wealth mankind has ever or will ever know.
Rather than scream about his policies, I intend to get more than my fair share of that transfer.

There are forces in this world that are bigger than us.
These forces when they impact will either crush us, ...or push us into success.
In my case, the end result that I've chosen, is the latter.

I have no control over Bernancke and what he & his overlords decide to do, or impose on the global economy.
but what I do have control over is how I respond to those decisions, ...especially when given fair warning.
A reed that will not bend, ...BREAKS! I do not intend to break.

Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out.
Rather than scream about the upcoming shitstorm, ...I'm positioning myself to dance in the rain.

november 2 i beleive the FOMC meets and will likely announce another round of quantitative easing(buying back bonds) in an attempt to stave off deflation and encourage inflation.

May work if the reps win some control and nuture obama and his idiotic agenda that hurts business, but if the lunatics that are the far left liberals retain control and some shit happens with the economy happens like the banks foreclosure problems get bad etc...and ppl simply save the money or pay down debt instead of spend it then we may be in some shit
