is he a worse fighter than he was in say 2003?

or did mma pass him by?

i just thought it was very weird seeing him dominated by his tuf protege, or is hamill that good?

Tito has been done for a long time,  everyone saw where Hammil really is against Jon Jones.  He was given a gift in the Jardine fight.

Seems like Tito's problem is that he's lost his aggressiveness on offense.  He has become too much of a counterstriker imo.  He was much better when he would pursue the opponent, instead of waiting and trying to counterpunch.

Actually, at this point, i think Shammy could now take him.   ;D

MMA has passed him by.  He ruled in an era when not everyone had a defense against a solid double leg.  Nowadays, every trains takedown defense and most top fighters have solid wrestling.  If Tito is forced to stand in a fight, he is left to rely on his ridiculously weak striking.  Some of those punches and kicks he landed on Hamil were a joke.

It's too bad.  I always root for guys like Tito to somehow come back, but it ain't gonna happen...

Tito actually has developed some technically sound striking over the last few years.  His first fight with Forrest he looked pretty crisp, he didnt look too bad in his last fight either, he just gasses now.  Which can probably be attributed to all of his injuries and whatnot, although I do agree that his wrestling that he's relied on for so long isn't so unique anymore since everyone does it now.  So to re iterate, he's got pretty technically sound striking, he's just pillowfisted.
