QFT works even better than searching torrent sites for rare albums.

Limewire is shit for getting full albums.. I'm up around 25,000 songs right now.  virtually impossibly to achieve downloading songs one by one on that archaic system.

start manually adding songs.. and it probably won't work because it's in an unrecognizable format for the ipod.  most likely it's a .flac file or some sort.

I think Ipod only plays mp3s.  There are audio converters that you can download which will convert other formats to mp3 for you.

with limewire all I did was click to my device in ITUNES, click recently added and boom sync, no problems. I manually added 2 songs and it shows to the left under my device but I cannot get it to sync for the life of me

I've never used limewire so I have no idea, but maybe you just don't have the complete file?  I'd try downloading from elsewhere, converting to mp3 if required after the download, and then loading into an itunes playlist.  The link kiwi posted is a great site.

Disregard advices if I'm not understanding you.  I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff.

They may not be distributing it anymore, but Limewire is still working for a lot of people. I see lots of Hosts when I log on and Friday evening through Sunday evening I can still find any music I want.   :)
