Even if Fedor were overrated, which he isn't as the fight with Minotauro proves - I don't think this level of skill has ever been displayed by any fighter in any fight ever -, he would still be much better than any UFC heavyweight. Fedor would either knock him out cold on the stand up, or on the ground he would either submit him since Cain's grappling is zero or brutally ground-and-pound him to a win. True story.

Ok, who in the UFC heavyweight division has defeated more top heavyweights? And it doesen't matter here because we are talking in absolute terms and not evaluating who has fought more talent at the same point in their careers. Fedor has defeated Nogueira, Crocop, Herring, Mark Hunt, Garry Goodrich, Randleman, Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Ricardo Arona, etc. With the exception of Renato Sobral, who was a light-heavyweight, these were all top heavyweights. Who in the UFC heavyweight ranks has defeated more talent?

He was the best fighter of Pride, undefeated, he beat a lot of UFC guys, etc.

Maybe he still needs to fight others like Alistar, but I don't think he is overhyped.

I wasn't referring to the ex UFC champs, which were all cut from the UFC for poor performance. I was referring to all of the Pride guys that Fedor beat. Most came to the UFC and when they did, they had their asses handed to them...

I would not rank Alistar as #1 based on the competition he has faced. However, if you were to ask me who I thought would win in an Alistar vs. any one heavyweight, I would tell you that he would beat all of them except for Cain.
