Havent really talked to anybody other than the person I report to directly about it but from what they say for the most part the ppl that stayed with ML actually like they switch.

They say not much has changed but they are able to offer a wider range of services b/c now they can tap into BofA services for their clients so it gives them yet another way to bring in income and make money.

I personally think that ML lost alot of face getting bought out by BofA and it seems to me that the main part of ML is moving more towards retail now than high net worth individuals...they actually have an online platform now to compete with TdAmeritrade, Scott trade, etrade etc...

that just doesnt seem like something ML would have done before hand...

I've heard from many people that the BofA/Countrywide merger is an epic clusterfuck

No I competed in the US open a couple of times Big Ache started a thread a while back in which I posted a picture an old gi with USA on the back that was from the US open...

Lost to I think the canadian olympian that tournament

I won USJA and USJI nationals if I remember correctly...

You don't remember?? Anyway, right on. Judo is a great sport. Can't say I agree with all the new rule changes but whatever. USA judo is crazy; They really went to town on the USJA last year. I'm glad they resolved all the issues and the USJA is still around though.

no problem I havent heard anything of the BofA countrywide thing

had a buddy who was with ML before and went to UBS with his team after the shit hit the fan. I think that was the way to go although they are getting sued by ML now

it was quite a while ago bro, I actually dont even practice anymore the constant dieting and watching my weight was horrible...cutting and sweating to make weight. That and the amount of practice makes it very difficult to be a normal person. You cant go out and have a couple drinks, you cant go out to eat very often, out of town alot for tournaments...

Ya they were making some weird rules when I was still doing it, I really want to get back into it but not so much for competitions just for the sake of doing it again.
