....the only reason I brought it up is because years ago I met a girl on vacation.we had a long distance relationship for a year before she ended up moving in with me.....after a few years it didn't work out but to this day I don't regret it.

My wife and I had a long distance relationship for 2 years and then we got married 3 years later! Today I get to stay at home and pretty much do what I want because I stuck with it. I have a cool life.

I respect you a lot Bay but sometimes things don't work out exactly the way we want. I was already destined for London well in advance of meeting my gf so we both knew about that and one day I hope to be closer but right now my current course of studies is important and I am paying a lot of money for it all so...

 I did this a long time ago. Had a girlfriend living 400 miles away. It completely sucks. Nothing good about it. Very unhealthy.

 If you have a girlfriend, being about to see her in person is essential.
