If a guy get caught with 200gram amfetamin his face is all over the news, if a perv get caught molesting 200 children his face is not. not even his name. And the fuckers have there own prisons where they can share stories while the other one masturbates bläääääh

i would love to have it like you guys have, just go to the internet and you have all the convicted sex criminals at your are before you

David Garrard accounts for 5 TDs, and all ESPN wants to focus on - aside from the benching of McNabb - is how Tim Tebow scored a touchdown, in a game where TROY SMITH, who is black, led his 49er team to victory as they scored 21 points in the 4th quarter.

ESPN ignored this because Jacksonville and SF  suck and are last place teams that nobody gives a shit about.

White, but definitely with the white trash gene.  I know looks can be deceiving, but he doesn't appear to be from good stock.

The guy who set up the 'transition home', however, is black, and I have a few select thoughts about his trick ass.

It's one of those deals where it was a great neighborhood when we moved in, but the town itself was only slightly above average, yet had a VERY high opinion of itself...real big on appearances, light on substance.  The town has many other residents and me pissed over this budget bullshit (long story about small-town corruption while no one is paying attention).

Yeah, got an 8-year-old girl.  I bought one house - I've paid about $180K into it and as of today, it would sell for about what I paid for it 3 years ago - and I'm renting another up on the country club side and was about 10 days from closing on a purchase when all this budget stuff came out for the town that made me say fuck this place.  And now they're saying they can collect the extra utility tax - a campaign for which they funded with TAX money - from all residents of the city, renters or homeowners.

When the foreclosures began to roll in, this neighborhood crashed the most, IMO, because it had the furthest to fall due to being the most overpriced and filled with people who took out lines of credit on homes they couldn't afford in order to buy shit they couldn't afford.  And now, thanks to the Obama-Pelosi mindset, the rest of us get to pay for it.

America needs a serious wake-up call, because as things stand, fewer and fewer of us control our own destiny.

Tre, you touch on something that is a major problem......foreclosure s in what were once decent neighborhoods, but EVERYBODY being able to get a mortgage ruined them.

Too few want to live within their means anymore.

I'd love to have that $1.5 million dollar Tuscan estate, but I can't afford it.  And although I'm willing to ask for a loan to make the purchase, it's not YOUR responsibility to pay for that loan when I default on something I didn't need and couldn't afford in the first place.

I totally get wanting to be an economic climber, but the trick is to do more with less, not to pretend you have more just for the sake of trying to impress people who don't give a shit.  I guess, though, one of the issues is that some people *did* care too much about the toys their neighbors were getting and wanted to keep pace.  I admit that I spoil my daughter terribly, but she understands where money comes from and I am more keen on spending so that she can have experiences, not 'stuff'.

Another major issue out here are the exorbitant salaries and benefits to public employees.  The numbers would absolutely sicken any right-minded American...who doesn't have a government job, which happens to be a high - and growing - percentage of the population here near Sacramento.

What set me off wasn't so much the fact that some unlicensed organization moved a registered sex offender (convicted child molester) into the neighborhood approximately 200 feet from my front door, it was the fact that the city said there's nothing we can do about it.

Fucking liberals are breaking their own laws/civil codes, sticking us TAXPAYING citizens with the tab, and *then* arguing - via the city attorney (I can't believe he gets paid for this shit) - that we're not allowed to file a complaint on the grounds that doing so is harassment of the homeowner, the halfway house organizer, and the tenants.  And by seeking to deny their placement in our neighborhood is infringing upon their civil rights.

Keep in mind now, THEY placed the sex offender there (and he moved in!) despite the home being less than the mandated 2000 feet from an elementary school and park, and now they're telling us that we have no legal standing to complain.  And because they're unlicensed, there technically is no state oversight, and there's no grievance mechanism in place.

I could really give a shit.  Kids are all spoiled brats and the parents are 10x worse.

Fuck you, Generation Nothingness!

Many parents my age (I'm almost 40) are horrible, no question, but the problems really explode with that group of parents who are about 30 now.

My age group are pretty much the last ones where the majority got our asses beat by our parents when we mouthed off or broke the rules.

Here in Texas it is state law about the distance a registered sex offender can be from a school. Not city ordinance. If that were to happen here, a phone call to the local police department would resolve the issue with the guys arrest. Is that an option where you are?

Jessica's Law mandates the 2000-feet restriction here as well, but that law is currently being challenged several places here in CA (mainly San Francisco and Orange County down in SoCal), so the city attorney here has advised our police department to err on the side of caution.

I don't fully understand how the system works, but apparently, a conviction does not carry with it automatic registration into the state's sex offender database.  The obligation to register is given as a part of a person's sentence, but then it's up to the CONVICTED FELON to register himself or herself.  And then it's also up to that person to notify the local police when they move to any area.  It's required, but if they fail to do so , what do you do?  It was only through the diligence of a concerned neighbor that we even found out this guy was a child molester and then he was compelled to register with our local police.  But then it still took a citizen protest to get him removed from that location.  He was supposed to be gone Sunday, but I haven't verified that he's moved out yet.

doesn't the police dept have a sex crimes unit or sex offender registry, and they check up on the def if he fails to register in X amount of days? And if he doesn't then charges can be fined for failing to register?

According to their statement, the police did NOT have the power to arrest him once they learned he'd failed to register.

Oh, and when I said that the police were advised to 'err on the side of caution' by the city attorney, the caution was not to protect the law-abiding, taxpaying citizens...it was to protect the Constitutional rights of the child molester!!

What a dumb law.  So if a sex offender moves 2500 feet from a school, there's a much lesser chance he'll strike?
 ::)
This is called, appease the parents law.
Should somebody who has murdered someone declare to the area he's killed?  Let's keep him 1 mile away from shopping malls because there are lots of people to choose from there.
 ::)
Again, parents go on a crusade on these laws, after their child is victimized because it gives them purpose and they feel there's something that needs to be done, when in reality...it does nothing.

You want to make some serious changes to the system, let's start with goofy speed limit laws.  I'll get right on that bandwagon. ;)

I was asking can they or the State's Attorney's offic filed charges for him failing to register...

In the state of Maryland, charges can be filed against a sex offender for failing to register, and 99.9999% it will be a arrest warrant that will be issued, and then he will be picked up.
