Because I was interested in it - wasn't worried much about employment because I currently work for a family business which my father started, a manufacturing company - so I was introduced to Engineering from a very young age! and I pretty much had a job lined up from the second I was born!  Sounds pretty assholish but I'm not gonna kid myself!

I don't know. My current MSc I am doing really has little to do with my interests. I am hoping it will garner me a good job and that's why I am doing it. Mind you, I don't hate it but it's nothing I get excited about. I think a lot of people who study things as a career move feel the same.

Lol that would explain your confidence despite being so ugly, just remember don't let it go to your head, if you grew up in the states you'd just be the ugly kid with low self esteem.

I had very low self esteem when I was a kid - before I started traiing, I was socially awkward got bullied a lot and was a cry baby... in high school my life changed like 180 degrees, i became an athlete, became more confident, and things sorta got easier from a social stand point! As for my work in the family business, I fucking love it, its my life outside of bodybuilding, I do my best not to let it get to my head!

Meh I suppose I got on the fence at the moment do I finish a diploma in Engineerng, or go all the way with the degree. I got scared away from ENG with all the obsessive and overly competitive fucks at the school, but being a at a college being more interested in shit than all your peers sucks dick as well. (it's one or the other, as I suck at writing )

I haaaaaaaaaaated studying Engineering in undergrad and masters, kinda hate it too in my PhD lol... but actually using it and applying it in the real world was pretty interesting, although my own personal work has diverged more into the business side recently.

Lol well it's either be a technolgist, economics, engineer, or a physics teacher, those are pretty much the extent of my interest in terms of work. I've also worked more than a few hours of the years so I think I got a realistic expectations of what I want.

Stick it out and go for the full degree, i was in your shoes back in undergrad, half way through thought about quitting engineering - so glad I didn't!

Thanks that's good advice, well my original plan was college than Uni, as I thought it was cheaper to do one step at a time, but I crunched the numbers and realized it was cheaper to go back to uni, shitty part is the uni I'm at won't reconize my college shit, atleast compared to other uni's (I hate gov funded politics with a fucking passion)

Yeah pretty much, I don't mind it's giving me time to rethink shit about life, and shit, this last six months have been alot of change for my world outlook(way less conservative etc.) My posting style I think reflects part of this (alot of inner conflict) fun/work/sex etc.
